We found it brewed a pretty flavorful cup just with the standard recipe, but consider increasing the coffee-to-water ratio for lighter roasts. The Cuisinart Coffee Center has a few user-friendly features that caught our attention, but it was the delicious iced coffee that landed it on this list. There’s even a dual heating system so you can make coffee and espresso simultaneously. Set it to brew on a timer, customize your coffee’s strength, and program the automatic shutoff mode. The drip side of this machine is no slouch either, with full programmability. While espresso purists might scoff, the non-professional baristas on our team loved that it only took minutes to master the basics of steaming milk for lattes and cappuccinos.
